Hurricane Frances
Man, this hurricane sucked. All it did was knock out power on my block. Nowhere else is Sarasota is without power, and I've been without it for two days now. It's basically turned my 3-day weekend into a 1-day weekend, and today, which was supposed to be a work day to do all my homework that I couldn't do yesterday, is totally wasted. All I can do is sit here and fart until the damn power comes back, if it even does by the end of the day. And my teacher is going to have no mercy tomorrow when I don't have all that much to show him... because every one else is going to have their work because they didn't lose power. Ugh!
Well, for now I guess it's just back to sitting in the dark and eating what food is left that hasn't spoiled.
I guess all-in-all it wasn't *so* bad... we did have a fun LAN party on Saturday night, and a good movie night on Friday night... although both of those technically happened before the hurricane. The suckiness actually began at 1 pm yesterday when out power went out... damn. I just really hope it gets back up soon so I can do my homework.
